My tips on what to bring while traveling around the world on a budget.

Complete list of traveling items:

-large backpack
-small daypack
-laptop computer, case, cord, computer mouse, earphones
-camera, tripod, camera case, extra battery, memory cards, charger
-moneybelt (optional, I no longer bring one. I always put my essential items in my daypack and keep it with me when traveling between destinations)
-books (including a guidebook for your destination, such as Lonely Planet or Rough Guide)
-travel chess set
-passport and necessary visas
-baseball cap, other hats
-socket adapter, voltage converter
-bike lock (cable lock)
-warm fleece jacket
-2 blankets (or a sleeping bag)
-toiletry bag
-toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss
-shampoo, bar soap
-razors, small unbreakable mirror, shaving gel
-mosquito repellent
-metal cup
-socks and underwear
-rain jacket
-hiking shorts
-2 pairs swimming trunks
-6 t-shirts
-3 tank tops
-1 pair pants, belt
-swim goggles
-dirty laundry bag
-wallet, checkbook
-copies of passport and credit cards
-water purification tablets
-cell phone and charger
-extra batteries
-super glue, pens
-small handy bags
-metal water bottle
-beard trimmer
-toilet paper
-photocopies of passport, I.D., credit cards
-warm hat, gloves, neck warmer
-rain jacket
-needles, thread, collapsible scissors
-Leatherman tool (pocketknife)
-small spoon
-fingernail clippers
-ear plugs
-eyeshade (sleeping mask)
-aloe vera gel

but did u have headphones? 2) if u start off with some of that stuff and
run out (aloe gel or TP or whatever–for example) did you find it difficult
